Privacy policy.
Short version: we collect almost nothing, we run no ad trackers, and you can browse the entire site without an account.
If you just browse
We don’t set tracking cookies and we don’t use ad networks. Page-view analytics run on GoatCounter, a privacy-focused service that stores no personal data and uses no cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard aggregate request logs (the kind every website has).
One technical note: tool logos load from Google’s public favicon service, so your browser requests those images from Google when a page renders. That request is the same kind your browser makes for any image on the internet.
If you create an account
Sign-in goes through Google or GitHub. We receive your name, email address, and avatar from them — nothing else, no password. That data and anything you create on the site (reviews, saved tools, questions, tool submissions) is stored with Supabase, our database provider.
Reviews can show your name or a masked version of it. You control that with the privacy toggle in Settings, and masking is on by default.
If you join the email list
We store the address you give us and use it for the digest you signed up for, nothing else. No sale, no rental, no “trusted partners”. Every email will include an unsubscribe link.
Deleting your data
Write to us through the contact formfrom the email tied to your account and ask. We’ll delete your account, reviews, favorites, and submissions within 30 days and confirm when it’s done.
The boring-but-required parts
- The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
- If we change this policy in a way that matters, the date below changes and significant changes get a note on the site.
- Data processors we rely on: Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (hosting and CDN), GoatCounter (analytics). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
